Visit the museum

Open houses

The Museum is open to the general public on the first and third Saturday of the month from 11am to 3pm. Come get a tour from one of our docents or explore the Museum on your own.

We always have a number of our live animals out and about for an up close and personal experience!

General admission to the Museum is $5, children 5 years and younger are free. We accept cash, credit card, and check.

Private tours & birthday Parties

We often have birthday parties and private tours at the museum, where you can reserve our space for uninterrupted time with your family and friends!

Both private tours and birthday parties are booked for a three-hour period, with an hour-and-a-half guided portion with live animals and presentation of our exhibits, and a remaining unstructured hour-and-a-half, where guests can continue to explore, and use our meeting room to serve refreshments or have other activities.

Fill out a "tour request form" for questions, inquiries, and booking!
