"ZOO-HAUL" TRAVELING AMBASSADOR ANIMAL PRESENTATIONS

Can't make it to our facilities for a tour? Let us bring our message of wildlife conservation to you!

The PWM Zoo-Haul is a personalized presentation of our Animal Ambassadors delivered by our docents and brought to YOU and your class/school group/organization. Currently, you can choose from one-of-two 45 minute presentations:

Picture
Conservation Stories - A docent-led presentation featuring animals and artifacts from our collection that exemplify the most pressing issues of modern day wildlife conservation including. Learn about South American long-tailed chinchillas and their journey from near extinction by the hands of fur-poachers, get up-close-and-personal with a giant Southeast Asian constrictor and learn why these modern day monsters are dominating the Florida Everglades, or meet our CA state reptile, the CA desert tortoise, and learn what you can do to protect this precious endangered species. Meet all of these amazing animal ambassadors, learn all these amazing stories and more!

Snake Surprise! - A docent-led presentation featuring a diverse variety of snake species and breeds with a focus on snake biology. Our trained docents will present and teach your group all about snake adaptations using large constrictors, native snakes, snakes with man-made morphs, even *slightly* venomous species (we have a pretty cool hognose snake we think you'd love to meet :) ). If you and your group wants to go into a deep-dive and learn about all things ophidian or just want to shed some cool and kind light on these commonly misunderstood animals, this presentation is for you!
