RESERVE A TOUR FOR YOUR SCHOOL GROUP

Join the 3,000 k-12 school children who visit PWM annually and take a tour with your classroom or organization and learn all about wildlife, wildlife conservation, and what we can do to protect global biodiversity!

Our trained docents will guide you and your students through a wildlife-conservation-themed tour of our museum showcasing our extensive collection of taxidermy, fossils, and artifacts. Inspire awe and wonder in your students as you get immersed in our dioramic exhibits and meet, first hand, some of the resident reptiles, amphibians, birds, and mammals in our live small animal collection!

School tours are available throughout the academic school year (Sept. - May). Tuesday and Thursday tours begin at 10:30am and end at approximately 11:45am, Wednesday and Friday tours begin at 11:40am and end at approximately 12:55pm. If bringing bag lunches, please feel free to enjoy in our courtyard area from 11:45-12:15pm Tuesday and Thursday or 12:55-1:25pm Wednesday and Friday.

The maximum group size admitted per tour is 45 participants. Tours are $5 per entrant and payment can be made up to the day of the trip (checks should be made to "Petaluma Wildlife Museum"). Title 1 schools are free! Please note: full-size school buses must drop off your group in front of Petaluma High School and park on Fair Street (you will then take a short walk -approx. 400 yards- through the PHS student parking lot to our facilities).

In order to begin the process of booking a tour, please CLICK ON THIS LINK and fill out this short Google Form.

Our Reservations team will respond within a week. Once a date for your booking is confirmed, our Treasurer will send you an invoice for your booking; the invoice is due no later than on the date of your arrival.

Looking forward to serving you and your students and we'll be in contact, soon!
